There is nothing more fun than knowing a family vacation is on the horizon. In North America, that type of vacation has Walt Disney World in the equation. Last year, we had the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World as VIPs as exclusive guests of the Disney Social Media Moms Conference. This experience is in the highlight reel of my blogging career. It may all stem back to when I was a kid and we went to the Magic Kingdom in 1971. In those days, before the internet and mobile apps, my mom would comb the travel section and go to the library. I love that she did that, because I learned to love the library. It was a place where dreams could come true. You know, like a trip to Walt Disney World!I can still remember the excitement I felt when I saw Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs marching past (I actually ran after them). Oh, yes, I did. Thankfully, my parents followed closely behind and brought me back to our seats. I feel that it was just so incredible to see these characters live and in person. In all honesty, I still get that feeling when planning a Walt Disney World vacation. Let’s face it, there is just something so magical about the happiest place on earth. In fact, it might even be a competition as to who gets more excited between the kids and me!! Since we are a kosher eating and consuming crew, we need to plan in advance all of our meals. This was especially true for our time at the Yacht Club Resort property. Learn more about how we managed to make Chulent and eat Kugel during our stay on Shabbos in this post.
