It is no surprise that some kids, maybe most, do not find eating vegetables exciting. Thankfully, the people over at Garden Lites have given this problem some serious thought and came up with a solution. After all, parents have been telling their children to “Eat your veggies!” for generations. So, what has the young brand Garden Lites achieved that all other brands in the healthy food arena have not?
Garden Lites has figured out that the way to get into the heart, mind, and mouth of children is to do veggies in the right way. I am not just saying this, I know it is true. I had my taste testers try out a variety of Garden Lites snacks and meals and they were very happy. In fact, my oldest daughter couldn’t believe that the Chocolate muffins actually had vegetables in them! Here is some more information about these well received and much needed vegetable products.
Garden Lites does offer many gluten free products including Muffins, Souffles, and some Bakes. They recently introduced a Mac & Cheese that does contain gluten. It is always best to refer to the Allergy Statement on all products. In order to maintain the gluten free status on the respective items, Garden Lites only uses dedicated lines and regularly test both their machinery and products. Garden Lites ranks in the top 1% of the country with their HAACP Level 2 Safety Certificate and they make it their top priority to ensure food safety in all of their products. Thank you!
Garden Lites is currently in the process of becoming GMO-free. The majority of their ingredients are already GMO-free, and they are working to source reputable vendors for the remaining ingredients. Keep up with Garden Lites on Facebook to get the latest updates on this process.

I am so glad that Garden Lites is looking out for our children and creating snacks and meals made with veggies as the 1st ingredient. Here are some of the flavors we tried out recently:
You’ll never believe the first two ingredients in Garden Lites Chocolate Muffins are zucchini and carrots! These products do come frozen and you can either heat them in the microwave or put them in the oven at a low temperature. Since we don’t have a microwave, we heated our Chocolate Muffins in the oven. They came out perfectly and disappeared almost immediately. The texture was moist and the chocolate flavor as rich as a regular chocolate muffin. These are also very Allergy-friendly! Gluten, Dairy & Nut Free!
Superfood Veggie Cakes
These Superfood Veggie Cakes are packed with nutrient-rich superfood veggies like Kale & Cauliflower, Gluten Free and only 100 calories! We had these as a side, but they are also the perfect snack too. If you like things with a bit of spice, add a dash of Siracha sauce to them. These are available exclusively at Costco in the refrigerated section!
Homestyle Waffles and Blueberry Waffles
We love our waffles crispy and fluffy, and Garden Lites Waffles are just that. The main ingredients in their irresistible Waffles are vegetables! They’ve cleverly hidden butternut squash and carrots into every bite! The Blueberry Waffles had a nice amount of blueberries in them and my younger daughter was thrilled. The kids had no clue they were eating such an item. I smiled all the way through. We put ours in the oven and they came out just right. The aroma was so delightful the kids came downstairs ahead of schedule that morning. These Homestyle Waffles are gluten free and allergen friendly too!
